My friend Valerie is embarking on an adventure that many of us would envy and many would dread.
A complete kitchen remodel.
I am, of course, thrilled to be helping her brainstorm. And although she is feeling a bit overwhelmed, she is better off than she thinks. She knows her key ingredients and she knows what she likes and dislikes.
The showstopper?? She wants concrete counters. LOVE!
It's contemporary and fresh, it's practical and durable, it's actually quite affordable, and most of all it looks so good!

Now this is obviously not concrete, but easily could be. So much to love in this kitchen even beyond the stone and the contrast. The double sink faucets, the extra wide hood vent, the cabinetry, the paneled wood ceiling, and you can see the dark butcher block mounted on the back end of the island. Really a gorgeous kitchen.
