Gypsophila Paniculata.
Baby's Breath. It's been around for years and I am used to picking it out of my flowers and throwing it away.
Not anymore.
I'm loving it. But not mixed into a bouquet of roses bought at the grocery store... oh no, no, no. Use it all alone and use lots of it. It looks so gorgeous and etherial stuffed in big bunches into your favorite urn, jug, bucket or vase.
It's cheap - usually $3-5 per bunch. It's available year round at almost any florist (I get mine at the Safeway flower department). It looks fresh, lasts forever and can pretty much accommodate any container.
Ok, this picture was cute so I included it - but the flowers look a little sad.
Go way bigger :
I know it's a little early for this kind of talk, but I will be all about the baby's breath wreath come Christmas!
Enjoy...

I used to throw them out too! Not any more, though, they look so lovely! Beautiful vignettes!
